Field visits
The day on the floor, step by step
Neighborhood chain store reviews succeed when the visit rhythm is calm, timed, and comparable across outlets. Here is how a typical Birchcore field day unfolds.
Before we arrive
You share the branch address, banner standards that matter most, and whether staff should know we are coming. We map two nearby competitors and choose a weekday window that matches the shopper pattern you care about—morning staples, lunch rush, or early evening.
On site
Reviewers begin outside: bike parking, poster clutter, door clarity. Inside, we walk the natural basket path, pause at priority categories, and note queue and checkout cues. Photography stays limited to areas store policy and courtesy allow.
After the visit
Within two business days we deliver the written review and schedule a call to walk through findings with your district or franchise team. Urgent floor issues can be flagged the same evening by email.
Visit checklist themes
- Storefront and approach from the main foot path
- Entrance posters and hour cards
- Aisle width and promo stand placement
- Staple category facing and gaps
- Produce or fresh table condition when present
- Queue, payment, and exit flow
- Immediate rival outlets on the same corridor
Where we walk
Most visits stay inside Hanoi—Tay Ho, Cau Giay, Ba Dinh, and adjacent residential pockets. Multi-day schedules for other cities are arranged after a scoping note.
